When you press PROVISION on the sensor overview you will be asked to fill in the information required for a sensor to be commissioned:
- DevEUI
- Sensor type
- Billing group
- If OTAAis selected as the communication method:
- AppEUI
- AppKey
- If ABP is selected as the communication method:
- DevAddr
- AppSKey
- NwkSKey
The PROVISION button then lights up and the sensor can be commissioned. A message will appear whether the provision was successful or not.
In the event of a failed provision, carefully check that DevEUI and the values, depending on the method of communication, AppEUI, AppKey or DevAddr, AppSkey, NwkSKey, match the data supplied by the sensor manufacturer. If everything looks right and it still can't commission the sensor, contact Netmore Services for further support, support@netmoregroup.com
Once a sensor has been commissioned and registered in the network server, it can submit sensor data. A properly commissioned sensor has Yes in the Provisioned field and the Last Communicated field contains a date and time when the last message was received from the sensor.
A sensor can be unprovisioned by clicking the UNPROVISION button. This button can be clicked even if the sensor has not been commissioned. An error message comes back indicating that an Unknown Error occurred.
If a commissioned sensor is deprovisioned, a message will appear if deprovisioning succeeded or not. If deprovisioning had failed, contact Netmore Services for further support, support@netmoregroup.com.
