New features
One Time Password (OTP) is now mandatory for users with access to one or more networks (Countries)
Applicable for: All
For admins, it is now mandatory to use OTP (one-time password). We are adding an extra layer of security for all users who have access to one or more networks (countries). This is being implemented to reduce the risk of breaches and thereby protect our customers’ data. This primarily applies to Netmore employees but also to users from other operators who have access to a larger volume of customer data.
End of life of Netmore’s old MQTT Broker
Applicable for: Service Providers
We have now shut down our MQTT broker, which means we have removed many export configurations related to MQTT and replaced them with our new clustered MQTT Broker. Below is a list of the remaining export configurations with different export format that can be selected for sensors if you wish to use the Netmore MQTT broker:
Topic includes Service Provider and Customer
Netmore MQTT
Netmore MQTT (All)
Netmore MQTT (FCntUp)
Netmore MQTT (Message Type)
Topic includes Service Provider, Customer and Sensor Type
Netmore MQTT, extended topic
Netmore MQTT, extended topic (All)
Netmore MQTT, extended topic (FCntUp)
Netmore MQTT, extended topic (Message Type)
With the release, all calls made via REST will automatically convert to our new export configs, like from "Default ActiveMQ (All)" to "Netmore MQTT (All)". If you’re using the REST API to manage sensors, no action is needed on your part.
More information about exporting data using Netmore MQTT here.
Product concept added on Service Provider and Sensors
Applicable for: Service Providers
We have added product concept into LoRaWAN Portal. New fields can be found on Service Provider (Available Products) and on sensors (Product). This is a step toward a broader product concept that Netmore will introduce later, which will replace the current Billing Group and Gateway License. More information will be sent out about this later as it approaches. With the release, all sensors will be assigned the product "Netmore Default”.
