The Send Downlink widget allows users to manually transmit messages from the network to the device.

What this section does:

It enables remote control or configuration of a LoRaWAN device by sending custom payloads.

Input fields explained:

  • Confirm Downlinks: When checked, the network expects an acknowledgment (ACK) from the device.

  • FPort: Application port (1–223) used by the device to distinguish message types.

  • Payload: Hexadecimal data to send to the device (e.g., a command or configuration).

  • Valid Duration (seconds): How long the message is valid to stay queued before expiring.

Buttons:

  • Clear Downlink Queue: Deletes all pending downlink messages for the device.

  • Send Downlink: Queues the downlink message for the next available transmission slot.
